Ed Toth will briefly discuss (1) the history of Peace Corps and the thousands of volunteers since its inception by President Kennedy. (2) General conceptions and misconceptions on why a person joins Peace Corps and what they do. (3) Share my own experiences in Kenya and Ghana. (4) Ending with insights on the lasting impacts living in another, usually less developed, nation has on a volunteer's life.
