Over the last few weeks, I have felt a million emotions, but if I’m honest. I don’t have many words. So, without much fanfare, here is what I want to say.
If you are afraid or worred about what the future holds, you are not alone.
If you are sad and heartbroken, you are not alone.
If you feel out of place or flabergasted, you are not alone.
If you feel disenchanted, you are not alone.
And yes, even if you feel hopeful in the midst of uncertainty, you are not alone.
If you feel like you don’t belong - you belong here.
Gay, Pan, Bi, Ace, or Straight - you are welcome and celebrated here.
Identifying on the gender binary or beyond it - you are welcome and celebrated here.
Marginalized or minority groups - you are welcome and celebrated here.
Atheist, Christian, Pagan, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Taoist, Agnostic - and everywhere in between and beyond - you are welcome and celebrated here.
In these moments, when the world somehow feels both enormous and like it’s closing in on you - you are not alone, you are safe here. You belong here. Pull up a chair, stay a while. We will keep love at the center. We will get through this, together.
Blessed be,
Rev Mary (she/her)
